She was so young and fair
Shades of red on her cheek
Golden is her hair
Strangely unique
One day she was fine
Joyous as can be
Then it was her time
To be set free
It was so sudden
Like a heart attack
Had I heard it comin’
And knew how to react
But now she’s here
With dirt upon her breast
And flowers placed with care
Never more a breath from her chest
